Timea Romančíková

My name is Timea Romančíková and I’m a 20 years old Chemistry student at HZ University of Applied Sciences in Middelburg. Engaging in practical-based learning is a great match for me considering that problem-solving skills and deep disciplinary knowledge are what I desire. I have always taken my studies seriously, with complete dedication to all tasks, assignments, lab work, projects, reports, and other duties very actively, but also with tremendous respect. I have formed a strong bond with the subject of chemistry and my interest in it expanded as I have always been fascinated with where people can encounter chemistry, and the wide range of applications chemistry has as a science. My coursework has so far included courses in Inorganic and Organic Chemistry, Cell Biology, Quality and Safety, Biobased Economy, Mathematics, Physics and Statistics. I feel that, with my interest in Analytical and Organic Chemistry and pending qualifications together with the Analytical Sciences Talent Program (Cohort 2022) I can obtain vital knowledge and training beyond the university of applied sciences' (HBO) curriculum and to accommodate it in my subsequent Master's studies and professional future.
